After the Michael movie and the explosive Netflix documentary that followed, many are wondering what his elusive ex-wife Debbie Rowe is up to now. Pop icon Michal Jackson and Debbie Rowe were married for three years in the late nineties. The two met in quite an unconventional way – Debbie was a nurse’s assistant at the Beverly Hills clinic Michael was getting treated at for his vitiligo. The nature of their relationship is highly debated – whether it was actually romantic or just an agreement between friends is uncertain. They divorced in 1999 and shared two children together, Prince and Paris Jackson. During Michael’s bombshell 2005 child abuse trial, Debbie was called as a witness to the prosecution, but ended up defending Michael and denying she had been coerced into giving positive statements. “Michael is a great person and a great father, generous and caring,” she said. Where is Debbie Rowe now? After Debbie’s divorce from Michael, where she received a $15 million settlement in today’s money, she took a huge step away from the public eye. The last time she spoke out in public was during a civil trial against AEC events after Michael’s death. “Unfortunately, some of the doctors decided that when Michael was in pain, they would try to see who could give him the best painkiller,”she said. via Balkis Press/ABACA/Shutterstock The ex-nurse’s assistant, now 67 years old, was last pictured in 2025. She was seen in California, wearing dark sunglasses to hide her identity, but still had her signature shoulder length blonde hair. Paris Jackson has recently opened up about their relationship in an interview with Willow Smith. “It’s cool, getting to know her, seeing how similar we are, getting into what kind of music she really likes. She really likes country and folk, so I sent her some of the stuff I’m working on,” she said. “We look a lot alike. It’s just cool having her as a friend. It’s very chill, which I love. It’s the perfect word to describe it.” For all the latest film and TV updates and hot takes, like our Facebook page.
