Rivals season two has arrived on Hulu and Disney+. The show includes many scandals, but not many clothes. If you’ve wondered whether Alex Hassall is wearing a prosthetic during Rupert Campbell-Black’s many spicy scenes in Rivals season two, you’re in luck! He’s answered this question in extreme detail for you. Apparently, the production team for Rivals did contemplate utilising prosthetics during the various nude scenes. Alex Hassell told The Times: “In the book, Rupert is said to have a d*ck that could bat bread rolls across the room and while I am okay, I wouldn’t suggest that I could bat bread rolls across a room. And so they made some [prosthetic penises].” He continued: “They had to be held up against my face to see if the colouring was right. The first question I was asked on my first day of filming, sitting in the make-up chair for the first time, was what colour my penis was, so they [the production team] could get on with making them. It set a precedent for the whole show as to how well we were going to get to know each other. I decided very quickly to be very respectful of everyone’s boundaries and my own, but also be very blasé about the whole thing because if I was nervous about it, it would come off on screen.” Rupert does not seems to like wearing clothes very much(Image via Disney+) Ahead of season one, the production team did also contemplate using digital effects to give Rupert the right, erm, look. Eventually, the crew decide Alex Hassell would “use ‘model’s own’, as we say”. So no, Alex Hassell did not wear a prosthetic for any spicy scenes in seasons one or two of Rivals. It’s really him in the show, *au naturel*. For all the latest film and TV updates and hot takes, like our Facebook page. Featured image via Disney+. Post navigation Next story
