Whether you love or loathe Sydney Sweeney, you can’t deny she went full-out for the role of Cassie in Euphoria season three. In the latest episode, Cassie created a range of OnlyFans content, including a “giantess” video. We saw a giant Cassie strut over Los Angeles, and her nipples smash through the windows of an office building. I am not making this up. We’ve all wondered it, so how much was Sydney Sweeney paid for each episode of Euphoria? Here’s everything we know.

The budget for Euphoria season one was way lower

According to Variety, the budget for each episode of Euphoria‘s first season was around $11 million. That’s much more than you’d expect for a teen drama in a high school. However, as the cast were pretty much entities back in 2019 (other than Zendaya, of course) the supporting roles didn’t come with huge pay cheque.

It’s been reported that Sydney Sweeney was paid $25,000 per episode for season one of Euphoria, then $350,000 for her work on season two. That would amount to $43,750 per episode.

Sydney Sweeney used to worry she wasn’t paid enough

The star spoke candidly about money in a 2022 interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “If I wanted to take a six-month break,” she said, “I don’t have income to cover that. I don’t have someone supporting me. I don’t have anyone I can turn to, to pay my bills or call for help.”

She continued: “They don’t pay actors like they used to, and with streamers, you no longer get residuals. The established stars still get paid, but I have to give 5 percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, 3 percent or something like that to my business manager. I have to pay my publicist every month, and that’s more than my mortgage. If I just acted, I wouldn’t be able to afford my life in Los Angeles. I take [brand] deals because I have to.”

Sydney claims she had $800 to her name on her 18th birthday, then she was able to buy a house in Los Angeles five years into her acting career.

Sydney Sweeney seems to have got a big pay rise for Euphoria season three

Back in 2023, it was reported that Zendaya renegotiated her salary for Euphoria, and would be paid $1 million per episode.

An unnamed Hollywood agent told Us Weekly back in 2024: “There’s no way Sydney Sweeney is going to come back to Euphoria for anything less than a million per episode. Anyone But You was so successful, and she was the main reason it was such a hit. She’s smart. She produced it, she promoted it, and it made her very rich. They will need to pay her a salary that is comparable to what she’d make if she was making a movie.”

We don’t know the exact figure Sydney Sweeney is paid per episode for season three. Some outlets have claimed she was paid $800,000. Sydney Sweeney is likely to benefit from Euphoria beyond her fee for acting, though. Her lingerie line SYRN – which she wears pieces from in Euphoria season three – is picking up. The business reportedly received a $1 billion dollar investment from the Coatue Innovation Fund, which is associated with Jeff Bezos.
