Look, we’re all excited for The Devil Wears Prada 2. The concept of Miranda Priestly content coming for us hard in 2025 and into 2026 brings me immeasurable joy. But I fear something needs to be said that I didn’t realise had to be said: A lot of these celebrities you lot think are going to be in it from Twitter / X are absolutely not going to be in it. It’s actually a big meme format right now, and everyone’s falling for it. Here’s what you need to know about the trend and why everyone is getting duped. Kurt and Blaine from Glee are not celebrities featured in The Devil Wears Prada 2, for christ’s sake!!!

What we actually know:

The world this week was gifted a heavenly visual of Anne Hathaway on set as Andy in The Devil Wears Prada 2. Wow. The world literally stopped. We also know of course that Meryl Streep will be back as Miranda Priestly. The other confirmed cast members are Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Tracie Thoms, Tibor Feldman and new cast like Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, BJ Novak and Justin Theroux amongst others.

Do you know who’s not in it, guys? Lady bloody Gaga. Madonna. Florence Pugh. Robert Pattinson.

Whilst people think a lot of celebs are going to be in it, they probably don’t think Shirley Carter and Heather from Eastenders are. But some of these memes are genuinely convincing. Unless The Devil Wears Prada 2 is just playing a blinder on us – all these celebrities aren’t actually in the film.

Although the tweet saying the film “The Devil Wears Prada 2 is just gonna be 90 minutes of them crossing the street” in New York is hilarious. And I also loved “First look of Karla Sofia on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City. Apparently, she’s playing the ‘devil.'”
