Some have speculated that Timothée Chalamet’s starring role as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown could see him win the Oscar, and while I don’t have a crystal ball available right now, the film’s Letterboxd reviews should be a reward in of itself.

We’ve not seen a meteoric rise to stardom like Timothée Chalamet’s since Jesus Christ himself. After starting out with a bang in Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me By Your Name – which he did receive an Oscar nomination for – our guy Timmy has starred in Dune, Little Women, Wonka, The King, and Lady Bird. Still, he’s yet to receive that golden trophy.

A Complete Unknown received its UK release this week and is currently sitting with a score of 76 per cent from critics and a 96 per cent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The Oscar nominations have been postponed because of the ongoing LA wildfire, but as we wait for confirmation of Timmy’s golden era, keep yourself satiated on this insane Letterboxd reviews of the Bob Dylan biopic.

1. So, literally everyone then

2. Kylie Jenner, is that you?

3. It’s fine, you’ve got months of binging Glee covers to get him off there

4. It’s never been done before

5. I hate to say it, but would totally watch

6. Timmy’s highschool raps are the stuff of legend

7. Not the Letterboxd Robbie Williams crossover

8. And Wicked too??!

9. Timmy exists, me: Hot

10. There’s just something about hot celebs smoking cigarettes

11. I need subtitles and one of those floating sign language interpreters in the corner

12. It was lost in translation

13. Willy Wonka has ALWAYS been chill like that

14. So, he was in One Direction then. Right?

15. Rumour has it the set had a strict bring your own cigarettes rule

16. And can we talk about the facial hair?

17. Well I got six, I win!

18. A Dune reference was mandatory

19. Mystery solved
