If you’re at all superstitious, these are the foods you should eat to keep UNC winning

Order egg rolls ASAP

March Madness is exactly that – madness. If you weren’t yelling and pulling out your hair during the UNC vs. Arkansas game, then what were you doing? Our team pulled through 72-65, and are moving on to the next round as the only ACC team left (sorry not sorry, dook).

With the Sweet 16 approaching, it’s important we keep all traditions and superstitions alive and well, especially according to Grubhub.

In a PR email shared by Andrew Carter on Twitter, a Grubhub employee named Jeremy told us all about March Madness ordering trends and “good luck foods,” aka all the foods UNC fans should be eating if we want to keep advancing in the tournament.

First of all, stop what you’re doing and order an egg roll – they were ordered 269% more during our winning game days. From there, Jeremy suggests we should be eating dumplings (ordered 160% more on winning days), garlic naan (117% more) and other college student staples like cheese pizza (69% more) and garlic knots (63% more).

Who knew food could have such a big impact on Carolina’s basketball performance? Not me, but I’m not one to argue with statistics. So grab yourself some delicious egg rolls, put on that beloved jersey and prepare yourself for another great game.
