UCSB student found dead at Santa Cruz Residence Hall

A UCSB student was found dead on Sunday in what police are referring to as a suicide.

According to the Daily Nexus, UCPD were called to Santa Cruz Residence Hall at 4pm and investigated the scene.

At 8.30pm, it was confirmed that a student had died.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office and the UCPD are currently conducting a joint investigation into Sunday’s incident.
