BREAKING: Oregon basketball gets number 3 seed in NCAA tournament

The Ducks will play Friday in Sacramento

Oregon basketball has been selected as a number 3 seed in the 2017 NCAA tournament. The Ducks, who went 29-5 this season, will play the number 14 seeded Iona Gaels in the Midwest region in Sacramento on Friday.

The Ducks, who lost senior Forward Chris Boucher to a torn ACL in the PAC 12 tournament, will look to junior Dillon Brooks and freshman Payton Pritchard to power them towards hopes of making another Elite Eight run.

If the Ducks win on Friday, they will face the sixth-seeded Creighton Blue Jays in the second round.
