How to join in Syrian Refugee Awareness Week at NYU

Every ally makes a difference

This week is NYU Syrian Refugee Awareness Week. Run by New York Multifaith Advisory Council and NYU Global Spiritual Life, it’s a “weeklong series of advocacy-based events built to create dialogues on the Syrian Refugee crisis and the challenges facing displaced populations around the world.”

Although most of us at NYU are aware of the refugee crisis, it can be discouraging trying to navigate the question “how do I help?” The events this week will provide guidance and opportunities “to volunteer, get involved, and show solidarity with Syrian refugees, and refugees around the world.” See the full schedule below, and follow updates at @nyusraweek.
