Superbowl Sunday knife fight stopped by MadSo bartenders

Three Madison Social bartenders stopped a violent encounter

In what appears to be an attempted drug-deal-gone-wrong scenario, 20 year old Johnathan Stamm was arrested for robbery with a deadly weapon shortly after midnight on Sunday.

According to FSUView, Stamm became angry after an acquaintance chose not to buy cocaine from Stamm, subsequently leading to him brandishing a pocket knife which he held to the victims throat, threatening with sentiments such asĀ “I will gut you like a pig”. Madison Social bartenders noticed the confrontation, leading them to intervened and disarm Stamm until the police could be called. Police did not retrieve the alleged cocaine from the scene.

On Tuesday, Stamm entered a plea of not guilty and his bail was set at $10,000.
