Patrick spent ‘thousands’ on therapy every week to get over Kacie after Love Is Blind
'It made me dive really deep into unhealed wounds'
Patrick really went through it on Love Is Blind, firstly with Anna leaving without saying a word and Kacie then ending their engagement shortly after the face reveal. Yikes.
And it seems like Patrick was so badly affected by the split that he had to take drastic measures, spending “thousands of dollars” on weekly therapy sessions to help him get over Kacie and the trauma that appearing on Love Is Blind brought up for him.

He told Entertainment Weekly: “Because I was so confused that I was like, ‘I need to look really deep into myself to understand where are these insecurities coming from? What am I willing to tolerate in a relationship?’
“It made me dive really deep into unhealed wounds, and it had to be triggered by just spiraling about what had happened.”
He continued: “I probably spent thousands of dollars on therapy, just every single week, sometimes twice a week, just because I just wanted to figure out what it was.
“And at the end of the day, I kind of realised when it comes to finding love, it’s not about race or how you look or things like that.
“It’s about just being confident and healthy mentally, that way you know what you bring to the table, you know what you’re willing to tolerate, and you know what you want outside of the insecurities, because insecurities can just blind you.”

However, despite some of the unhealed wounds that the show brought up, Patrick says he’s actually very grateful for being on it, and looks back on the whole thing positively.
He added: “Right now, I feel way healthier than I did when I was in the pods, and I’m happy that the story came out the way it did.
“And I hope it’s inspiring for a lot of people that suffer from the same thing. A lot of people have a hard time healing or uncovering what they need to heal.”
