Here’s the absolutely insane amount Ozzy Osbourne got paid per episode for The Osbournes
Sharon negotiated those contracts like nobody's business
News of Ozzy Osbourne’s tragic passing was announced yesterday evening, with the rocker also being well known for his iconic reality TV show, The Osbournes.
The Osbournes completely changed the face of reality TV, with the show being the first of its kind to just focus on the everyday lives of celebrities.
However, Ozzy himself wasn’t too keen on the show, and later admitted he’d made a mistake by doing it and that it ended up completely “breaking him.”

As such, the family weren’t paid too extortionately for the first season of the show, although having said that it was still more than most of our yearly salaries so not exactly a figure to sniff at.
However, as the show grew hugely popular in its first season to become MTV’s highest rated show ever, Sharon successfully renegotiated the contracts to mean the family got paid an insane amount more.
During the first season, which aired in 2002, each of the family members earned between $20,000 to $30,000 per episode

When they renegotiated their contract for season two, each family member was reportedly paid a whopping $250,000 per episode, which totalled an insane $5 million for all 20 episodes of the second season of The Osbournes.
This contract continued for the second and third season of the show, with MTV also agreeing to pay all the expenses for a new home for the family, alongside therapy bills for their dog. You know you’re rich when even your dog gets to have therapy.
Sharon also confirmed the family received multi-million dollar deals in the form of bonuses from the show and merchandising rights.
