Omg, did Bryan use Bad Bunny lyrics in his Love Island USA speech for Amaya?!
The meaning behind them is so cute
That sweet speech that Bryan read out to Amaya on Love Island USA? Well, he apparently used Bad Bunny lyrics when he said, “Mi angel, mi diabla, mi loquita” in Spanish, which translates to, “My angel, my devil, my crazy one,” in English.
Did Bryan use Bad Bunny lyrics in his Love Island USA speech?
Yep, Bryan used lyrics from Bad Bunny’s song, BAILE INoLVIDABLE from his album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. The track appears to be an ode to a woman with whom he had a romantic relationship and can’t forget, praising her and what he took from their romance.
Bryan and Amaya both have hispanic backgrounds, which we all saw when he spoke up for her when she called everyone “babe.” Bad Bunny’s song also says: “I thought I’d grow old with you / Maybe in another life, in another world, it could be.”
Everyone is now convinced that Bryan is reminded of Amaya in that song, and it’s not the first time he’s spoken in Spanish to her. During the speakeasy with Amaya, he said, “Ven aqui,” then he said, “Come here,” and translated it to English, before they kissed.
Then during the recent confessional for the baby challenge, he spoke to her in Spanish, then Amaya said, “Yes, he is saying hi.” Amaya also spoke Spanish during the final dinner, in which she decided to cheer in her family’s language.
The speech clearly paid off, because they walked away with a $100K prize as the first Latino couple to ever win Love Island USA! They both were able to meet each other’s families, with Bryan speaking to his mother in Spanish over the phone.
They’re donating the money to help people in need, such as a mental health charity, as well as wanting to invest the dollar, and celebrated their win by eating truffle pasta and doing a load of shots together.
