Here’s EXACTLY how the Sneaky Links casting process went down and it sounds so long
That's some hard graft
Netflix’s new wild dating show, Sneaky Links: Dating After Dark, just dropped. And, we’ve got questions. The idea of a sneaky link is that it really is just that – sneaky – and somewhat mysterious. So, when it comes to the show’s casting process, it makes total sense that a lot of people were left wondering just how exactly all the participants got there. The show’s filming location is obscure enough, and it also turns out getting the whole cast together was a seriously gruelling process.
Chloe Veitch explained the casting process
Before taking up the offer to become the Sneaky Links host, Chloe Veitch explained on the Boyfriend Material podcast how she had some reservations related to the casting process.
She told Harry Jowsey: “I don’t want to walk onto a show where they kind of know through the grapevine that like ‘oh i had a conversatin with my ex last month, he said he’s going on the show…’ so when I spoke to the casters, they mentioned that it was like a year process.”
She continued that the whole thing of finding people’s sneaky links and the casual hookups that they had was very long-winded.
Chloe said: “They had to vet them, they had to fully keep them separate, like it took a year…”
The whole show was then filmed at a motel in Arizona, very randomly.
The show ‘gets really dramatic’
According to Chloe, there’s a lot going on in the new Netflix series.
She explained: “There are multiple twists, we get them in the motel and they don’t know that they’re going to be meeting their sneaky links.”
She added: “Their sneaky links get bought on one-by-one, and they are oblivious. They think they’re there, like any normal dating show.”
The reality TV star also explained how phones are put in the contestants’ rooms, something rarely seen on dating shows.
She added: “Do what you’ve got to do in the hours after dark!”
