Erm, Kim Kardashian just finished law school but is she actually a qualified lawyer now?!
It's giving Elle Woods
Kim Kardashian has finally completed law school! Somehow though, there’s some slight issues that means she’s not even qualified to be a lawyer, despite how active she’s been in the criminal justice world.
Is Kim actually a qualified lawyer now?
No! Kim Kardashian is not even a qualified lawyer yet, despite having finished law school. She’s still got to pass the proper bar exam, but has passed the multistate professional responsibility exam, a 60-question multiple choice test.
The test is a prerequisite to the bar exam. Once she passes the bar, she will be allowed to practice law in California. Only then will she be qualified, but considering how busy she is, it could take Kim a while!
She first opened up about wanting to be a lawyer in April 2019 and told Vogue: “First year of law school you have to cover three subjects: criminal law, torts, and contracts. Took my first [tort] test, I got a 100. Super easy for me.”
She’s been studying law for six years
Kim has been studying to become a lawyer for as long as we can remember. She began her apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm back in 2018 and managed to pass the baby bar exam in 2021 after three attempts.
Hoping to follow in her late father Robert Kardashian’s footsteps, she’s dedicated 18 hours a week to studying law, which adds up to around 5,000 hours in the last six years, on top of being a businesswoman, actress and mother.
