Here’s what every Love on the Spectrum cast member not featured in season three is up to now
I need to know exactly what Steve is doing at all moments in time
Sadly, not all of the Love on the Spectrum cast appear in the show for more than one season, so what have they all been up to since they finished filming?
From enrolling in pastry school to exploring new relationships, let’s see what the likes of Steve, Kaelynn and Subodh have been up to since appearing in the show.
Kaelynn
Kaelynn Partlow appeared in season one of Love on the Spectrum on Netflix, but mysteriously didn’t appear in season two or the newly released season three.
Last year, she opened up about the heartbreaking real reason she didn’t come back for further seasons of the show, saying ultimately the decision wasn’t up to her.
She talked about her absence on her TikTok, explaining that she was initially asked to come back for the second season of Love on the Spectrum, but later decided Kaelynn wasn’t the best fit for the show.
She explained: “I said yes. But months later, they said they weren’t coming back to this part of the country to film. So it just wouldn’t work out.”
While Kaelynn wanted to return to the show, she explained that Netflix didn’t think think there was anything left to say in her story, something that left her “bummed.”
She admitted: “I was bummed, but I understood. That is, until the production crew invited me to dinner in my hometown.”
Kaelynn ended up going to the dinner and found out the real reason Netflix didn’t invite her back for a further season of Love on the Spectrum.
She revealed: “They said they as though my story had already been told. And that I’ve been able to use my social media to continue telling my own story. Which is true.”
Ultimately, Kaelynn believed that her personal dating preferences were why she wasn’t asked to return for the second season of the dating show.
She confessed: “My preferences for dating a neurotypical man were not in alignment with the matches they were trying to create for everyone.
“In other words, my preference made finding matches more difficult for them and less exciting for viewers.”
Since her time on the show came to an end, Kaelynn is still single but regularly spreads awareness and talks about her time on Love on the Spectrum
Subodh
Subodh also appeared in season one of Love on the Spectrum and found love with Rachel.
However, in October 2022, the couple shared that they had broken up, explaining: “We would like to share that Subodh and Rachel are no longer together as a couple. They are however going to remain friends going forward.”
The statement continued, saying that Subodh was “so grateful to Rachel, her family, and the crew of the show for his first relationship.”
Since his time on season one of the show, Subodh still spends a lot of time with the other cast members from the show, who have all become very close friends.
He’s also a dedicated advocate for spreading awareness of autism and has a Cameo account where, for £53, you can get a personalised video from him.
Steve

Steve was perhaps one of the most wholesome cast members to appear in Love on the Spectrum, and I’m gutted he didn’t return for season three.
Not much is known about what Steve is up to now, as he doesn’t have social media, although there are some rumours he’s found a new girlfriend!
Journey
Journey was another cast member who only appeared in one season of Love on the Spectrum, and was the first lesbian to appear on the show.
During the show, we saw her love for baking, and since she finished filming, she’s actually enrolled in pastry school and regularly posts her bakes on Instagram.
When I tell you they are some of the most gorgeous pastries I’ve ever seen in my life, I’m not even kidding.
