Omg, Jacob Roloff has just revealed the BRUTAL reason he left Little People Big World
He's now living at Roloff Farms
Jacob Roloff has finally revealed the real reason why he left Little People Big World ten years ago. He was never really part of the show because he didn’t agree with the whole reality TV aspect, but his father, Matt Roloff, continued to keep the farm running and allowing his family life to be aired on TLC, until it all came to an end.
Jacob Roloff speaks out on Little People Big World
Jacob Roloff has now spoken out against Little People Big World as he approaches 10 years since he received his final payment for filming the show. He wrote, “This spring marks 10 years since I got my money from the show I was on for over 10 years of my life. I was 18 and finally had the agency to not sign the contract, so I didn’t, and promptly left home mostly due to disgust for the show and reality TV in general.”
He added, “I used that money to build my world back again with my wife, rather than capitalize on it for all it was worth, for better or worse.” He’s now said that, instead of what he calls a “TV set,” he is able to nurture Roloff Farms in the way he believes it should be looked after, as the family home he grew up on.
Jacob also wrote, “My 10 year tv money did let me live frugally and jobless for about 3 years though. I’ll never have the money to buy this place at market value. Can only hope to on site for as long as I can and do as much as I can for it in the meantime. I’m not asking for anything, I’m just gonna work until it isn’t possible and plant trees and get my hands in the dirt.”
He’s now living at the famous Roloff Farms
Jacob has recently moved onto Roloff Farms with his child and wife. He’s opened up a new greenhouse, replanted honey suckle, and even got his son involved in the entire farming process. Jacob isn’t getting much time to relax, as he recently built a little shed for washing vegetables and keeping his farming tools.
He wrote, “Now, I am grateful to live here @rolofffarms as an adult with my wife and son, growing things and stewarding the land. Raising my own kiddo doing the same things I used to do on the farm. Certainly it has been insightful these last 4 years in a lot of ways, both materially—learning equipment operation, my own growing style, the systems for farming, etc—and retrospectively—“What is the farm, without a tv crew?'”
