Meet Growing Up Hip Hop star Sakoya Wynter and her baby daddy
The cast of Growing Up Hip Hop welcomed a new addition in episode 11 season 6 as R&B musician, Jojo Hailey’s daughter, Sakoya Wynter joined the mix. So, who is she and who’s her baby daddy?

Who is Sakoya Wynter?
Sakoya is a singer-songwriter with two albums released on Spotify and a new single in 2023 called Cash Out.
Singed under the family record label created by Jojo Hailey, JT Entertainment has helped Sakoya launch her music career. She’s sung and written music from a young age, but in recent years Sakoya decided to pursue her talents.
Sakoya has a tattoo on her right arm spelling The Coldest, which is the name of her first album.
A big fan of music and in particular, R&B and hip hop, Sakoya’s favorite artists include Summer Walker, Kanye West, Drake, and Lil’ baby.
A fan of the finer things in life, Sakoya, can often be seen posing next to expensive cars on her Instagram feed and dressed in designer brands.
Who is her famous father?
Jojo Hailey is a Grammy-nominated multi-platinum recording artist, best known for his part in the R&B duo, K-Ci & JoJo. The pair made up of Jojo and his older brother made four albums in the ’90s and early 2000s.
From Monroe, North Carolina, their big hit, All My Life, has played on Spotify over 218 million times. It is also their longest-running number-one single.
Having suffered from health issues and alcoholism in the past, Jojo, 50, is now continuing with his music career. He has released his own single, while also helping his family to do the same.
Having set up JT Entertainment in 2020 with his wife, Tashaunda Lady T Hailey, the pair have signed several artists. This includes their daughters Sakoya and her younger sister, known as Tiny Hailey.
Sakoya Wynter’s baby daddy
American former professional basketball player, Brandon Jennings is the father of Sakoya Wynter’s child. Brandon, 33, played nine seasons in the NBA, including for the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, and New York Knicks.
The 6ft former athlete with a net worth of $16 million, owns a clothing brand, Tuff Crowd, selling apparel and jewelry.
Sakoya and Brandon had a short fling back in 2009 and welcomed their son, Legend Truth Jennings, on September 24, 2010. Their child is often kept out of the limelight, with no photos on either of their Instagram pages.
