After becoming one of horror’s biggest breakout stars this year, Obsession‘s Inde Navarrette is already looking ahead to what’s next, and it sounds like some seriously huge names are interested.

The 25-year-old shot to global fame after starring in Curry Barker’s surprise horror smash, which has now made more than $400 million at the worldwide box office. Now, she’s meeting with some of Hollywood’s biggest directors as she decides where to go next.

In a new interview with Nylon, Navarrette was asked whether she’d ever join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Her answer was pretty straightforward: “I would.”

It’s a timely response too, because reports suggest she’s already met with Jake Schreier, who is directing Marvel’s upcoming X-Men reboot after helming Thunderbolts.

Marvel isn’t the only major franchise potentially on her radar. According to reports, Navarrette has also sat down with legendary filmmaker Michael Mann, who is currently putting together the cast for Heat 2, the long-awaited follow-up to his iconic 1995 crime thriller.

When asked which directors she’d most like to collaborate with, Navarrette named Schreier and Mann alongside Sinnersdirector Ryan Coogler and Barbie filmmaker Greta Gerwig.

Her next film, though, is already locked in. Navarrette has finished filming Invertigo, directed by Matthias Hoene. The horror movie follows “a group of reckless teens who convince a young park worker to sneak them onto a rollercoaster before its official opening. However, a system failure traps them hundreds of feet in the air, forcing them to fight for survival as buried traumas and hidden tensions erupt into chaos.”

As for whether she’ll return for Obsession 2, she’s not convinced a traditional sequel is the best idea, even though Barker previously told The Hollywood Reporter he already has “a really cool idea” for another film.

“I think the beautiful thing about it is that there is no sequel,” Navarrette said. “I think it’d be cool if Curry did the anthology series that he was talking about, where each is a different wish.”

For now, though, she’s embracing the whirlwind that followed the film’s success, even if it means barely getting any sleep.

“I don’t care how much I’m not sleeping, because I don’t know if I’ll get this opportunity again,” she said. “I really want to prove that Obsession wasn’t just lightning in a bottle.”

With Marvel meetings, conversations about Heat 2 and one horror film already in the can, it looks like she’s got plenty of chances to do exactly that.
