Anna Faris’ unique style of comedy has always raised eyebrows, so it’s been nostalgic as hell to have her back in the public eye with the release of Scary Movie 6. She’s confusing people once again, and it’s great to be back. Promoting Scary Movie 6, which got a laughable 20 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes, Anna appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Simply put, it was bizarre. “In January of 2026, I thought, ‘I’m going to create an anonymous YouTube account.’ to reach out to you,” she told Seth. “Listen, I’m at a stage in my life where I really want to express my gratitude.” The obvious question is why, and Anna explained that she was hoping Seth would “pick up” that the comments were coming from her. “Did you say in the comments, ‘Hey, this is Anna?'” Seth asked, to which she responded, “No, no, no.” @latenightseth Anna Faris created an anonymous YouTube account to reach out to Seth 😂 ♬ original sound – Late Night with Seth Meyers Seth then proceeded to get out some of the comments, with the first reading: “Seth, we as a family are so grateful for your brilliance. We’d like to give you an award.” A month after that one, she added: “I wish I wasn’t filling up your comment section by telling you that I wish I could give you an award.” The cherry on top was, “I never notice haircuts, but you’ve got a great haircut.” Oddly, it didn’t stop there. The Scary Movie actress said there were many, many more comments from her anonymous account on YouTube. God, now I’ve gotta hunt for them. People thought Anna Faris was high This is seemingly many people’s first introduction to the powerhouse that is Anna Faris, because so many people thought she was high. I mean, she could have been – did you see the hotboxing stunt in the middle of Times Square? “The fact that her team let her go on like this,” one person said, as another echoed, “SHE’S SO HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH.” But, as one person put it: “She’s not high, y’all. This is literally how Anna Faris is; she’s amazing.” “Ok some of yall never saw Smileyface and it shows,” someone else said. Another wrote: “People love Meg Stalter, but don’t get Anna Faris. Oh, okay.” Never change, Anna Faris. For all the latest film and TV updates and hot takes, like our Facebook page.
