If you’ve binge-watched the first three seasons of From now that it’s on Netflix, you’ll no doubt be wondering when season 4 will arrive. There’s no official word from the streamer yet, but the lead star Harold Perrineau has dropped a clue.

As someone who has watched From since it first aired back in 2022, it’s hard to picture it as a binge-watching type of show. But it’s understandable that so many people have after the first three chapters landed on Netflix on October 19.

Not only is it a great mystery box horror show, but it’s landed just in time for Halloween. As such, it’s raced to third place on the Netflix top 10 TV show chart in the US, just behind Nobody Wants This and Raw.

But not everyone wants to pay for another subscription to keep watching. And right now, the only way to watch From season 4 in the US is on MGM+. Since season 5 is confirmed, it’s sparked questions about whether the fourth chapter will ever make it to the streaming giant.

Netflix is yet to confirm if From season 4 will be added to its content library. However, the legend that is Harold Perrineau – who plays Boyd in the show – did drop a hint earlier this month.

On X, he wrote, “Netflix. Seasons 1-4. Coming October. #FROMily.”

Obviously, this doesn’t confirm that the fourth season will be heading to Netflix at all, let alone this month. This could just be a mistake.

Either way, it’s an encouraging sign for fans hoping to watch the whole series in one place, even if Netflix hasn’t officially announced anything beyond the first three seasons.

Here’s the thing: streaming rights are often negotiated separately, with networks keeping newer seasons exclusive to their own platforms before licensing them elsewhere. These arrangements can last months or even years, depending on the deal.

And with From season 4 only finishing its run on MGM+ in June 2026, it wouldn’t be surprising if the network wanted to hold onto its newest episodes for a little longer.

Some have theorised that they may license it out ahead of the fifth and final season, which is expected to arrive sometime in 2027. This way, MGM+ could create more interest ahead of its premiere.

Of course, if you still can’t wait and you’re unable to add another direct debit to your account right now, there is a sneaky way to watch From season 4 for free right now: by using a VPN.

You see, in New Zealand, From seasons 1-4 are on TVNZ’s streaming service, TVNZ+. It’s ad supported and therefore free to use.

All you have to do is set your VPN to New Zealand, sign up for an account, and watch away. You’ll obviously have to watch advertisements in between, but it’s an option if you want to see what goes down in season 4.
