American Horror Story is finally returning for season 13 this week, and it’s going seriously big this time round – not least by bringing Jessica Lange back into the fold. The new season has been described as a “greatest hits” of American Horror Story, and that’s because characters from across the show’s history are returning as part of a huge crossover event. Jessica the queen, for instance, will be reprising her roles as Constance Langdon, Sister Jude Martin, Fiona Goode and Elsa Mars, while also playing a new mystery character. Then you’ve got Ryan Murphy favourites like Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and Emma Roberts playing a multitude of roles from across previous AHS installments like Murder House, Asylum, Coven and Freak Show. But the cast isn’t the only thing American Horror Story is switching up this year. Season 13 has 13 half hour episodes, and rather than releasing one every week, FX is giving us a pretty unusual schedule. But first… What time is American Horror Story season 13 part 1 out? American Horror Story season 13 part 1 consists of the first three episodes. They drop on FX and Hulu on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 9.00pm ET / 8pm CT. If you’re in the UK, you can watch all three episodes on Disney+ on Friday, September 25. Disney+ typically releases new episodes at 8am UK time, so they’re expected to be available from around then. Unfortunately, because it’s not a simultaneous global drop, exact release times haven’t been confirmed for every country. But we’ve included estimations based on general Disney+ releases below, as well as the definite American timings: US: 6pm PT / 8pm CT / 9pm ET on Thursday, September 24 – FX and Hulu UK: Around 8am BST on Friday, September 25 – Disney+ Central Europe: Around 9am CEST on Friday, September 25 – Disney+ India: Around 12:30pm IST on Friday, September 25 – Disney+ Singapore: Around 3pm SGT on Friday, September 25 – Disney+ New Zealand: Around 7pm NZST on Friday, September 25 – Disney+ The full release schedule Credit: FX Unlike many shows, American Horror Story has never been afraid to mess around with its release schedule. Season 10 kicked off with a double episode premiere before switching to weekly releases, while season 11 dropped two episodes every week. Season 13 is doing things differently again, with episodes arriving in batches of three and two across the next five weeks. And it seems to be intentional, as the finale – episode 13 – lands just in time for Halloween.
