Carla Jeffery, best known for playing Bree Prattle in Disney’s Zombies franchise, has died at the age of 33, and her former castmates have been sharing emotional tributes following her sudden death. Carla died on Tuesday, September 1, according to her manager, Carla Alexander, who announced the news in an Instagram post. Her cause of death has not been revealed. She appeared as Bree in the first three Zombies films, starting with the original in 2018, and later reprised the role in Zombies: The Re-Animated Series, which ran from 2024 to 2026. Chandler, 26, described Carla as “the sweetest, most sparkly gal” and said her death was difficult to process. “This doesn’t feel real,” Chandler began. “You made every day better and brighter with your infectious positivity.” She then wrote, “I think part of why you brought such effervescence to Bree (aside from your immense talent) is because that’s really who you were in your heart; a bubbly, vivacious heart-of-gold cheerleader who loved nothing more than to uplift those around her.” She also shared several photos of the two actresses together, including snaps from the set of Zombies 2, as well as a video showing her running to hug Carla. She said she felt “grateful” to have known Carla’s love. “I’m going to miss laughing with you, and watching you break out your signature splits on any & every dance floor,” she continued. “You’re a legend in my eyes, and your legacy of bringing joy and comfort to people everywhere will live on forever. I love you so much, CarlaBoo.” Milo Manheim remembered Carla as ‘the sweetest, kindest’ person Via Instagram Milo Manheim, who played Zed in the Zombies franchise, also paid tribute to Carla through a series of Instagram Stories. The 25-year-old actor first shared a cast photo before posting a picture of himself with Carla in their Zombies 3 makeup. “Love you Carlaboo, the sweetest, kindest, most loving person,” Milo wrote alongside the photo. He then shared a scene Carla appeared in on iCarly, where she dances with Gibby Gibson, played by Noah Munck. Milo captioned the clip, “I pray you would want this brought back real quick.” “I f***in love you. Thank you for spreading so much joy,” he added. Trevor Tordjman said Carla’s energy was ‘truly one of a kind’ Via Instagram Trevor Tordjman, who also starred in the Zombies films, shared two cast photos on his Instagram Stories following Carla’s death. On the first slide, Trevor, 30, wrote, “Carla, you will be missed,” alongside dove and broken heart emojis. He then shared another cast photo and wrote, “Will never forget your energy.
