People are fuming because new Wicked: For Good posters are giving away a massive spoiler
Obsessed with how much the marketing team don’t care
Wicked: For Good is genuinely just around the corner, and I couldn’t be happier – in the words of Thank Goodness. For those not in the know, Thank Goodness is a song from act two of Wicked and therefore will be in the film sequel coming out next month. I’m saying this plainly because there were people who went to watch Wicked who for some reason had no clue that it was even a musical and they thought it was just a Wizard of Oz remake. It seems the marketing team behind Wicked: For Good actually just assume everyone knows how this story ends – because they’re continually dropped Wicked: For Good spoilers without any care and you know what, I kind of rate it. Here’s the latest posters for Wicked: For Good and why everyone’s fuming about the spoilers because it’s making me laugh so much.
Spoilers for Wicked: For Good ahead but I assume if you’ve clicked on this you care as little as the Wicked team do.
The fates of Boq and Fiyero might as well be written in bold
The Wicked marketing team is lowkey funny as f*ck for these posters lmao… SPOILER?! 😭 pic.twitter.com/nX1u2wRbGo

Once again, the fate of Boq and Fiyero in Wicked’s second act is just plastered everywhere for everyone to see. First of all, the film gave it away in trailers and everyone just got on with it. But anyone who like me likes to steer clear of trailers because it’s more fun to just get it all in the cinema might instead come face to face with one of these bad boys that literally gives away the entire twist of the second part of Wicked.
The fates I am referring to here is the fact that the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz is revealed to be Boq – who gets transformed into a man made of tin by Elphaba after Nessarose almost kills him by accident whilst trying to make him love her. On the flip side, Elphaba transforms Fiyero into a scarecrow who can feel no pain because the Wizard’s guards injure him so badly he’d die from his injuries otherwise.
The posters of Boq and Fiyero clearly show who the characters become – and the Wicked: For Good spoilers saga reigns on.
