Hang on, Timothée Chalamet got a fine from Lime after he cycled to Bob Dylan film premiere!?
Timmy was fined for ‘incorrect parking’
We all saw it and had our jaws drop when Timothée Chalamet rolled up to the premiere of his Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown on a Lime bike – but the biggest twist yet is the fact he just revealed the entire stunt actually landed him with a fine. See, even Hollywood a-listers have to follow the rules. Lime waits for no one!
Timothée Chalamet went viral on Tuesday after he rocked up to the premiere not in a limo or a chauffeur driven boujee car, but on a Lime bike – a man of the people. Chalamet is partial to a viral stunt, but this one is one of the best yet in my opinion. Especially because it was a nice homage to A Complete Unknown’s subject matter of Bob Dylan, who famously had a penchant for riding on motorcycles. And a Lime bike is basically the same level of coolness as a motorbike, course.
« The idea is that I have no idea… there was a traffic jam and I actually wasn’t allowed to park there and I got a £65 fine and actually it’s horrible because it was an advert for them ! »#TimothéeChalamet at Quotidien today pic.twitter.com/fSXuaoVeNx

Timothée Chalamet revealed in French whilst appearing on French talk show Quotidien today however that the Lime bike stunt actually left him with a fine after failing to park the bike up properly.“I got a £65 fine and actually it was horrible because it was actually kind of an advert for them,” Chalamet told host Yann Romain Barthès.

He also explained how he opted for the distinctive Lime bike because of a traffic jam that would have left him late for the premiere – the most London thing ever.
Starting fee for a fine for Lime bike parking is usually £2 and goes up to £20, with the company tending not to issue fines for first time offenders.
