People are convinced this cute Ariana moment wasn’t actually in the Wicked script

It looks like she improvised it

Wicked has almost been out for two weeks now and people are literally analysing every single second of the film.

From the meaning of the outfits to the many Wizard of Oz references, no stone is being left unturned.

The latest thing people have spotted is a cute line that many are convinced wasn’t actually in the script.

During “What Is This Feeling,” Ariana Grande looks to the side and says the word “Oh” while walking.

In the scene, Glinda and Elphaba have both written letters to their parents about how despicable they find each other.

They try to find the words to describe this intense dislike and decide that “loathing” fits best.

“Dear Galinda, you are just too good,” the Shiz students sing. Then Ariana’s quick “Oh” comes before the next line.

However, if you look at the lyrics to the song by Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, the little comment clearly isn’t there.

This has left people convinced she improvised the line on the spot and they decided to leave it in the film.

It looks like she’s saying “Oh” in response to the previous line, where the students describe Glinda as “too good”.

“It’s like ‘oh, you guys are too much!'” one person commented. However, others think she was actually saying “I know.”

Either way, it’s a cute little addition that Ariana seems to have added herself, and people are obsessed!

“The ‘Oh’ is not in the soundtrack version of the song and I’m UPSET,” someone commented.

Another said: “I loved the ‘Ohh!’ in the theater. It tickled the perfect spot in my brain.”

Later in the scene, the window then turns into a halo, a clever Wicked easter egg you probably didn’t notice.
