Ariana Grande’s face is everywhere right now thanks to Wicked, but she looks very different than we’re all used to.

Actress Ari is like a totally different person to singer Ari, and she’s had a huge transformation over the past few years.

Let’s look at some photos from right before she was cast as Glinda to see how much the 31-year-old has embraced the role.

Here are some photos of Ariana Grande before Wicked

This was Ariana in August 2021, three months before we found out she would play Glinda.

She would have already done the Wicked audition at this point.

Here’s another one from October 2021, with her iconic ponytail and thick black eyeliner.

By December 2021, she was starting to look a little different.

Ari began ditching the makeup more and more by February 2022.

By August, she was definitely beginning to move into her cute girl era.

And then came the blonde hair in October 2022, which marks the start of her Glinda transformation.

These photos after Wicked show how much she’s changed

Ariana stopped wearing so much makeup and started to get a cutesy new look.

This was in February 2023, right in the middle of Wicked filming.

And this is a super recent picture from the Wicked press tour earlier this month.

She looks just as beautiful as ever.

She’s been through many eras in her career, and for this one, she’s fully thrown herself into character.
