New York Times columnist to lecture at Yale in the fall

Charles M Blow is known for his columns on political and social justice issues

Charles M. Blow, the visual op-ed columnist for The New York Times, announced on social media that he has accepted a position at Yale as a Paul Block Lecturer in journalism and politics. His lectures will focus on the current presidential election and how the media has played a role.

Blow released his first memoir Fire Shut Up in My Bones in September 2014, detailing his experience growing up in Louisiana from his relationship with his mother to the hazing he experienced in a black fraternity on his college campus.

His oldest son, Tahj Blow, is a senior in Saybrook College.
