Yale goalie Alex Lyon has signed with the Philadelphia Flyers
He’s one of the top goalies in college hockey
Last week, Alex Lyon ’17 left Yale to contemplate the numerous NHL offers presented to him – and he has now officially signed to the Philadelphia Flyers.
The junior, who had just finished his third season of collegiate hockey, has joined the Flyers on an entry-level contract.
Over the past two seasons, Alex has been one of the top goalies in college hockey, posting a 15-7-4 record with a 0.938 save percentage in his sophomore season and an 19-8-4 record with a 0.936 save percentage over the last year.
Congratulations Alex!
