Bronson Koenig will no longer be playing with the Milwaukee Bucks
Koenig could play for a different NBA team, G league team or internationally
The Milwaukee Bucks requested waivers to sever their contract with former UW-Madison basketball player Bronson Koenig.
According to WKOW, Koenig signed a two-way contract with the Bucks in early July. The two-way contract means he would have been mainly playing for the Wisconsin Herd, a G league team, but the Bucks could call him up.
During Milwaukee's summer league, Koenig averaged 5.2 points and 1.0 rebound.
If all goes as planned and Koenig clears the waivers he will be able to sign with any interested team, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said.
