UW-Madison Twitter account gets hacked, puts thots on blast
The tweets were up for three hours before being removed
The official Twitter account for UW-Madison was hacked this morning around 6:30. Four unauthorized tweets were sent out before the university was able to remove them at 9:30am.
Yes, admins are aware that the @UWMadison Twitter account has been compromised. They're working with Twitter to get the account restored.

The first hacked tweet,”deadass fuck thots on god,” gathered nearly 5,000 retweets and favorites before being deleted. The other tweets included a link to a YouTube video and a mention linking back to a suspended Twitter account.

The account has been restored, although the source of the hacking is still not known.
Better change that password, @UWMadison.
