UW-Madison basketball player, Jordan Hill, has just announced he is leaving the Badger Basketball team

Hill is now free to explore transfer options

Jordan Hill, a redshirt junior, has decided to leave the Wisconsin basketball program and explore other options.

According to the UW-Madison Mens Basketball, Coach Greg Gard has granted Hill’s release and he is now free to explore transfer options.

Hill will be graduating in May from UW-Madison, but because he was redshirted his freshman year, he still has one year of eligibility at another university.

“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to spend four years studying and playing at Wisconsin,” Hill announced Wednesday. “Thank you to everyone who has shown me love, my teammates who became brothers, coaches who never let me get stagnant, and all the people on campus who educated a young man from Pasadena. I can never say enough because coming here was life-changing. I will always hold a special place in my heart for you, Wisconsin I will forever be a Badger. On Wisconsin.”

Coach Gard thanked Jordan for his dedication, and wished him the best moving forward.

Hill has joined the starting line-up once for the Badger Basketball team, but he has played in 75 games, and made 175 points in his three seasons at UW-Madison.
