Police are seeking help identifying this suspect

Police said over the past two weeks, electronics and credit cards have been stolen form unlocked campus offices.

One of the suspects, Owens, currently has a warrant issued by the Department or Corrections for violating his probation on a previous burglary case.

UWPD Director of Communications Marc Lovicott said “Over the last few weeks we have been following up on leads and putting the pieces together, and we ultimately determined that all of these cases, if not all of them, are related and these same individuals are responsible for them.”

UW-Madison Police are looking for help from anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of Owens and the second man’s identity and to call the department at 608-264-2677.

As a reminder, students, staff, and faculty are advised to lock offices, keep a close eye on their valuables, and record the serial numbers of electronics.
