Badgers beat LSU and Tyrann Mathieu does 100 pushups

Thanks for the faith J.J. Watt

Many Badger fans had their doubts about the University of Wisconsin beating LSU at Lambeau Field Saturday afternoon, but J.J. Watt, former Badger, was confident enough to bet on the game.

The Wisconsin Badger football team beat No. 5 ranked LSU, 16-14. The game was a close one, but Rafael Gaglianone kicked a 47- yard field goal with 3:47 left, winning the game for the Badgers.

According to ESPN, J.J. Watt, Houston Texans defensive end, bet Tyrann Mathieu former LSU Tiger and current Arizona Cardinals safety, 100 pushups on the outcome of the game.

Mathieu made good on his bet, and posted the 100 pushups on Twitter for the world to see.

Mathieu needed two sets to finish, because he’s not “strong like Watt.”

In response, J.J. Watt tweeted “Much Respect.”

Thanks for the faith in Wisconsin J.J. Watt, we’re glad you bet on the right team.

Here’s to many more wins this season.

Next game: Badgers play Akron at Camp Randall Stadium on Sept. 10.
