Bon Appetit worker shot on campus during apparent drive-by

It is not known if police have anyone in custody at this time

A female Bon Appetit worker was shot on campus around 1:30 PM today.

An eyewitness report claims an individual in a car opened fire at another car on Forsyth. The woman bystander was shot in the arm outside of Edison Hall. She then went into the bookstore for help. She has since been taken to a hospital.

The Danforth campus was put on lockdown. Some classes were put on hold to find a safer place, others in more secured buildings continued session.

Police checked the campus and Danforth was given an all clear at 2:45 PM. It is still unclear if the shooters have been taken into custody. They are still searching for a black SUV.

Meanwhile, traffic has been blocked on Forsyth Boulevard while police investigate the scene.
