WFU is one of the 100 best colleges in America, says Forbes

They claim we’re only fourth best in North Carolina

Wake Forest has ranked 61st on Forbes’ list of the Top 100 Colleges in 2016.

As well as featuring highly on the list of national universities, we came in 52nd among private institutions.

This list takes post-graduate success, student debt, student satisfaction, graduation rate, and academic success into consideration.

Forbes reports:  “Wake Forest has produced 59 Fulbright Scholars and a number of Goldwater and Truman Scholars. The school’s most popular areas of study are business/marketing and social sciences.

“Nearly all (98 percent) of 2015 graduates are employed or in graduate school.”

In addition to academics, the Demon Deacons compete in Division I athletics and has high student attendance at games, both at home and away. WFU also is proud of our long-standing traditions and events, like rolling the quad.

Famous alumni include NBA stars Tim Duncan and Chris Paul and political commentator Melissa Harris-Perry.

Wake Forest is known, around the world, as a progressive and respected University. Wake was the first top college in the country to make standardized tests optional for undergraduate applicant.

With a beautiful campus, wonderful professors, and outstanding academics, WFU ranks among universities, like Washington University in St. Louis and Villanova.
