Do you want grilled cheese, and chips and guac?

This may seem cheesy, but holy guacamole

Over the next few days, students taking BEM 377 with Dr. Ben King are creating and selling delicious foods for their final entrepreneurship project

Their task? Senior Ella Ryan said, “we had to find a hole in Wake Forest’s market,” and then each group had to fill that hole with a product, create it and sell it. They were allowed to open business today, Wednesday, April 20, at 11:00 am and they must stop on Saturday, April 23 at 5:00 pm.

A significant portion of their final grade is determined by how much money they make – so be sure to support these business school students while getting a yummy bite to eat.

Ella’s group decided to sell grilled cheese, a favorite of college students, yet also a tough snack to find on Wake Forest’s campus. The group decided to not only sell their product for lunch, but also, to offer it as a late night food option besides Subway.

Today, they ran out of ingredients by 12:30 PM, so they had to go buy more to finish up the day.

The regular grilled cheese from Say Cheese!

Hours

Say Cheese is open from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and then 10:00 PM – 3:00 AM. Thursday, they’ll be outside Farrell Hall for lunch and late night grilled cheese will be outside of ZSR. Their location will change, so be sure to check out their Instagram (@saycheese_wfu) to find them and buy some cheesy goodness!

The goods

Regular grilled cheese is $3 and bacon grilled cheese is $4. And don’t worry, you can pay with cash, card or Venmo (@SayCheese).

Trust me, your stomach will thank you.

Guac Stop

Another group chose to sell guacamole and chips, yet another food adored by college students.

Why guacamole you ask? Well, junior Emily Fitzgerald said, “everyone wants Chipotle. Moe’s on campus is not great, so you have to drive to Chipotle, which is not convenient during the day. We originally wanted to do tacos in a mason jar, but then market research told us that all people really wanted is the guacamole.”

So, with that, their idea took off!

Hours

11:00 AM – 3:30 Pm outside of Farrell Hall on Thursday, and at Campus Day on Friday. On Saturday, they will be located on the Lower Quad from 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

The goods

They have a Facebook page, so be sure to check that here. They’ll be selling their awesome guac for $4.
