Virginia Tech investigating death on the Drillfield
We are saddened by a death in our community earlier today
Earlier today, there was a death on the Drillfield that Virginia Tech is now investigating. As of now, not much information is available. No foul play is suspected and police are working to notify the next of kin.
The university also tweeted in response to a request for more information, “Out of respect for the family, we have no more information to share at this time.” We have reached out for further comment once those details are release.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family.
