BREAKING: Power outage throughout grounds

‘When I said I wanted to get black out, this is not what I meant’

Around 5:30pm the University experienced a mass power outage affecting the masses stuck within the premises of Central Grounds which where the problem seems to proliferate.

The Great Blackout of 2016 has arrived. Backup lights went on in Newcomb, but nothing official has been sent out at this time. The good news is that apparently O-Hill has power, but maybe that’s not really such good news after all.

The following places have been confirmed without power:

Clemons

Alderman Library

Brown College

International Residential College

Maury Hall

Minor Hall

Students carried on with their normal activities, in Newcomb, at least.

Just kidding, seeing that Newcomb stopped serving food to students.

Guess we’ll have to wait and see, but until then, one question remains:

Who will be held responsible for forgetting to pay UVA’s power bill? Stay tuned.
