Tony Bennett collapsed on the sideline from dehydration

‘I blacked out a little bit but I’m OK’

Tony Bennett, the 46-year-old head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers, collapsed in front of his bench during the Virginia vs. Hampton game.

He left the court five seconds before halftime and his wife followed him back to the locker room shortly after.

Bennett gave a statement a few minutes later that he “blacked out a little bit but I’m OK.

“I just think that I, um, I was crouched down in that spot and you get up quick you and get a blood rush.”

When asked if he is OK to coach the second half, he responded, “I hope so.”

Even Justin Anderson chimed in.
