This is what happens when you try to shoplift from the bookstore

A student was cited to Judicial Affairs for shoplifting from the bookstore. DPS surrounded and handcuffed the student outside of the Sprinkle’s vending machine last night, Tuesday, March 28. It cannot be confirmed if he stole the shorts shown in the photo.

According to the Department of Public Safety incident log, the crime was reported around 6:46 p.m.

Nearly 24 hours later, a second arrest was made on Wednesday, March 29, next to VKC.

The cause of the arrest has yet to be determined and will likely not be released in the incident log until tomorrow. The Tab cannot confirm if the suspect was a student.
