USC Trojans will play Penn State at the Rose Bowl

Bowl bound and it feels so good

After days of speculation and a season of struggles, the Trojans are headed to the 103rd Rose Bowl on Monday, January 2. This will be USC’s 34th Rose Bowl, more than any other school in history.

This achievement comes after a tumultuous season marked with the switch out of Max Browne for Sam Darnold as quarterback, Clay Helton’s first complete season as head coach and beginning with a stunning defeat from Alabama. Yet as the season progressed, the Trojans came together to blow out UCLA and Notre Dame. Adoree’ Jackson and Juju Smth-Schuster’s incredible seasons have the Trojan family begging for the two to stay an extra year, with the former being in talks of potentially winning the Heisman Trophy.

As the university still reels from the loss of slain Professor Bosco Tjan, this news comes as a small comfort and stands as a testament to the resilience of the Trojan family.
