BREAKING: Protest at Trousdale pushes #SanctuaryCampus status for USC

They’re marching to City Hall after this

A protest is currently taking place at Trousdale in which participants are creating ‘feelings boards’ to demonstrate anti-Trump sentiments.  Following the demonstration, they’ll be marching to City Hall.

According to their Facebook group, the Million Letters Movement is staging the event as part of the #SanctuaryCampus campaign against Trump’s proposed immigration plans.

They’re aiming to get one million letters sent to electors to switch their votes from the President-elect to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.  They’re also delivering a petition to Bovard.

The protesters began with the chant, “not my president.”

“I used to want to be white when I was a little girl,” one told the crowd.

Helicopters once again flew over campus in anticipation.

“Give land back to Mexico,” said another protestor leading the crowd.

More details to follow.
