U.S. News and World Report ranked USC in the top 25 universities

Let the victory bell ring

In the latest US News & World Report rankings released on Tuesday, USC ranked 23rd among schools in the national rankings category.

Where did the school on the other side of town rank? 24th.

Mainstays Princeton, Harvard, U Chicago, Yale, Columbia and Stanford continue to lead the list, while Duke, U Penn, John Hopkins and Cal Tech round out the top 10.

While USC has a long way to go before reaching the level of those schools, the feat is still something to be proud of.

US News ranks its schools by a variety of factors, including retention/graduation rate, academic reputation, faculty resources, and student selectivity. The school ranked highly in individual subject areas, including Accounting (5), Entrepreneurship (4), Management (10), and Most Innovative Schools (19).

That’s not to mention the incredible Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, recently opened Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, and our renown School of Cinematic Arts.

Ranked higher than UCLA with a $700 million housing facility on its way?

It’s a proud day to be a Trojan.
