LAPD hates charities, shuts down DKA party at USC

‘New best assholes’

Beer and wine were flowing for less than an hour last night, before the LAPD arrived and shut down DKACADEMY.

The $5 fee at the door had promised unlimited alcohol, but those inside DKACADEMY enjoyed their sangria for 45 minutes before it shut down, leaving some students angry and demanding a refund.

$5 poorer and not any less sober

The best 45 minutes of the party, before the LAPD crashed it

DKA had published on the Facebook that the event began at 10pm, and would likely end at 2am. They also promised that 100 percent of the proceeds would go towards their philanthropy partner, SeriousFun Children’s Network, which puts on a camp for kids with terminal illnesses.

Sources close to DKA said that the cinema fraternity had not registered their event, giving LAPD the right to shut down the fundraiser before its original end time.

When you dress up, only to get shut down by the LAPD

A general vibe of “now where do we go?”

As DPS and the LAPD cleared out the DKA CineMaor, located on 1140 W. Adams Blvd, slightly drunk students yelled at the officials.

Many students complained, saying “They treat us in such a condescending way because they think we’re stupid.” Another student yelled while leaving, “DPS is going for a record breaking time. New best assholes!”

So who do you think is to blame: The LAPD or DKA? Too bad the children from the charity took the worse of it.
