James Taylor will perform at President Obama’s speech on Wednesday
He’s going to Carolina, and not just in his mind
President Barack Obama is coming to UNC on Wednesday, and he’ll now be joined by Chapel Hill legend and Grammy Award winner singer-songwriter James Taylor.
Obama is speaking at a “Get Out the Early Vote” campaign stop for Hillary Clinton on November 2, hoping to encourage those in attendance to vote early and exercise this important right.
The event will be held on Hooker Fields and will likely bring in a huge crowd, as students have been lining up for tickets at all hours of the day. Doors open at 12:30pm and the event begins at 2:00pm.
Tickets are still being distributed at Morehead Planetarium until 7:00pm tonight. Early voting ends on November 5 and Election Day is November 8. Only one more week to get out and vote. Time to put “Carolina In My Mind” on repeat.
