What your favorite fall sport says about you
UNC happens to be fantastic at all of them
Some people like every fall sport, some just like one sport in particular. Whatever the case, you can figure out a lot about a person based on their preferred sport.
So here are what your favorite fall sports say about you.
Football
We can start with the most popular sport on campus. You say football is the best because you tend to be a bandwagon fan and follow the crowd. You like the big hits and crazy touchdowns followed by crazier celebrations. Though most likely, the “sport” you really enjoy comes before and after the actual games. Yes, I’m talking to you tailgaters. In short, you like a crowd and you like a good time.
Soccer
Moving right along to the international game of football, both men’s and women’s soccer will be counted as one because they more or less say the same thing about you. You like the constant action that soccer provides. You like knowing that it only takes one play to win a game. You like the running clock so you know exactly when the match will end. In short, you like consistency.
Field Hockey
You’ve never seen field hockey before college. You like to pretend you’re an expert to those who haven’t watched it before. You like thinking you’re different from the crowd. You like learning and cheering with the band. In other words, you like trying new things.
Volleyball
I confess, volleyball is my favorite fall sport. You love it because of the crazy rallies. You live for the blocks and yelling “Block Party!” all the time. You like that it’s the only fall sport complete with air conditioning. It’s an indoor atmosphere and you’re into that.
Cross Country
To the people who run much longer than many of us have in months, we salute you. You follow cross country because you’re a runner as well. You like it because the best person always wins. You admire how fast these athletes can run long distances. In short, you like seeing the correct people come out on top.
Golf
It’s a true individual sport because it’s just you against the course. You like that all of the pressure is on one person. You thrive on suspense, knowing that a light breeze can define how well your sport will go for the day. You like your sports to last a minimum of four hours. You’re either a boring person or you like controlling your own destiny.
Keep in mind that this is only what your favorite sport says about you. Every Fall sport is a great sport, and UNC happens to be fantastic at all of them.
