Carolina ranked one of the most beautiful college campuses

We already knew it, but now it’s official. UNC was selected as one of the most beautiful college campuses in the country by Traveler Magazine.

Our campus is listed among the campuses of Yale, Princeton and Stanford, among other schools. They mentioned a few things that make the campus so special: the Old Well, the chiming of the Bell Tower and Coker Arboretum are a few.

“To achieve ‘higher learning’ requires a bit of inspiration,” they said. We couldn’t agree more.

After all, you can’t replicate that feeling you get sometimes – the one that makes you pause and take in the true beauty of this university. Because it’s always a great day to be a Tar Heel.
