Uber cuts prices in Chapel Hill

Prices goin’ down on a Tuesday

Uber is cutting January prices by 15% in Chapel Hill and Raleigh. So now you don’t have a single reason to stay in tonight.

Uber stated the month following the holiday season often results in a decrease in business, so the price change is an effort to maintain revenue. They want people who are trying to save money during the “post-holiday slump” to be able to afford their services.

Uber plans to decrease its prices this winter in over 100 cities throughout the United States and Canada.

“We’ve learned over the years that we do best when we test new things,” Uber said on its website.

They’re also making sure their drivers’ pay isn’t affected.

“In addition, we are guaranteeing earnings for drivers to ensure that no one is disadvantaged. That’s 24/7 incentives to put drivers at ease.”

First there were kittens, and now there are reduced fees. Uber keeps getting better and better.
