It was a GDTBATH after the ACC/Big Ten Challenge saw UNC take down a powerful Maryland team ranked number two in the nation.
Carolina had an answer for every run the Terrapins tried to muster, even responding to multiple Maryland three-pointers with a three-pointer on offense.

There’s no question the return of Marcus Paige (#5) played a huge factor, as he led the team with 20 points while also contributing five assists and knocking down four threes. He shot seven of 12 from the field overall, showing no signs of rust after missing the last few weeks to injury.
